Group Project: The Shape of Design by Frank Chimero

In this group project, I was tasked to redesign a book written by Frank Chimero entitled The Shape of Design. When dividing up the work, my partner, Lela Richter, took on the layout of the text of the book, the binding, and the packaging. I did all of the illustrations, cover layouts, and mockup images. As you will see in the layout of the book both in the mockups and the ePub, the text is justified and every few pages there are pull quotes. For each chapter there is an illustration that reflects what the main points or examples used in that specific chapter, and each cover reflects on each section of the book divided into four parts: Introduction, Part 1: The Song, Part 2: In-Between Spaces, and Part 3: The Opening.
